We estimated it would take about 4 days or 32-man hours to complete an as-built assessment manually. With the Trimble scanner, we had access to high-quality data fast and were able to quickly capture clean data in bright sunlight.

The point cloud from TX6 scanner and RealWorks gave us a clear and accurate picture of what we were looking at for phase 2 of our project. We also like that RealWorks point cloud data from the scan folded seamlessly into our Revit, SysQue and Navisworks workflow.

The Field Link system is very precise and works exactly as we expected. The Trimble Robotic Total Station is now an integral part of our field layout workflow on this job and all others down the road.
